Colouring your hair can be as important as the cut, and applied in such a way that you feel that your receiving a restyle each time.

Colouring has many advantages, covers white hairs, emphasizes make-up and cut, calms frizz and tames static. Even your natural shade will provide more shine and increase bounce or movement.

All short styles are improved through colour/s and are most frequently done in the following methods, on the tips (for the gents) and in slices (for the ladies), a technique in which 2 or 3 assorted colours are creatively applied through the hair to work with the cut, otherwise opting to touch colour (flying colours) where a combination of colours get applied with combs and brushes from mid-length to tips.

Highlights & Lowlights

Highlights and Lowlights work on all lengths of hair, and for those of you that aren't sure highlights are lifting colour out and/or placing light colours in (known in some Salons as the term Frosting). Lowlights tend to be reds & coppers and work best on dark base colours, Asian, Caribbean & Oriental hair.
